Pearl tea beverages hype is still happening here in Southeast Asia, even when the invention started back more than three decades ago in Taiwan. With the opening of new outlets in Indonesia, it is no wonder when we can find the similar one in Kuala Lumpur.
This time we try the beverages in Tokyo Street of the infamous Pavilion Mall in Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur. The vendor called Ochoda. We think they put a Japanese twist in the beverage.
The taste is okay. It has some kind of Japanese twist in it. Perhaps it is the tea?
