Cafe at Dago Endah Golf Course, Bandung

Balls Up!

One of the latest hobby that Aswin picks up over the past few years is playing. Although not routinely (because lets face it, golf is still considered as premium sport in this country), he tries to play it as often as he can.

One of the main gimmicks when playing golf, for Aswin is the ability have nice meal after playing golf. As a pro golf player food blogger eating enthusiasts, he always finds it hard to avoid a good meal after an exercise of driving golf car.

One place in particular where he likes to play golf is in Dago Endah, and one of their main delicacies is their Cikur Fried Rice. It is crunchy, delicious, and quite hearty. Perfect for filling up your energy after doing sport.

Enjoy!

TwoCents, Jalan Cimanuk, Bandung

For a while we are searching for the right time to visit this coffee vendor, but with hectic schedules that we have, along with the crowded people that came to TwoCents makes our visit delayed over time.

Until one day, one of our cousin, ask to meet Aswin for business development consultation. We propose to meet up here. Their design is very warm and intimate. Perfect for meeting or a session of quiet reading. They also incorporated a unique ordering system specifically found in modern coffee shop, where we pay for the meals and coffee that we ordered prior to sitting. Then we take our order after they finished making it.

We tried their bagels (Aswin's favorite type of bread besides focaccia), and their open sandwich. We also ordered their cold and iced coffee. The overall experience was delightful. One of the many coffee shops vendors that you should visit if you are happened to be around the area.

Enjoy!

Sumeragi, Authentic Japanese Cuisine in Setrasari

We found this place by coincidence when we are looking to grab something to eat for dinner in Setra Sari area. The place itself is designed very Japanese, with all of the ornaments and simplicity that you often found in a Japanese restaurant.

The place itself has their own bar, with several table in the first floor, but for us, we really enjoy having our meal in the second floor. The situation is somewhat more intimate and warm.

The menu that we really enjoyed here is their signature salad.

What? Salad in Japanese restaurant you asked?

Yup. Their salad is one of the main reason why we enjoy this restaurant. The vegetables are fresh, their portion is huugee... And most importantly, their dressing tasted delicious. we really recommended that if you come to this restaurant to give it a try. We also loves their Okonomiyaki (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Okonomiyaki).
All of the meals here are prepared fresh and usually comes in large portion. Really suitable for you guys who loves to eat large or eating out in large number.

Enjoy!

Baso Bintang Avon, Buah Batu, Bandung

Disclaimer: We love noodle!

With that in mind, we present you: Baso Bintang Avon. For us, we believe that this vendor can be considered as one of the best Yamien vendor in Bandung. The broth is not quite thick, as Akung, but it is certainly not as mild as Sam's.

So, if you are happened to be in the southern area of Bandung, and need a quick snack or lunch or dinner, then this is the place to go.

Enjoy!

One of the plenty hidden gems in Bandung. This Baso Tahu vendor is well hidden in the southern area of Bandung city. With the taste as great as their counterpart vendors in Bandung, as well as their competitive price, we believe that Baso Tahu Lina will become one of the favorite culinary destination in Bandung.

DeHaPe Foodcourt, Dalem Kaum, Bandung

The Invitation

On April 2015, we were invited to the press conference for the opening of DeHaPe Foodcourt in Dalem Kaum area, Bandung. We were excited to attend this press conference, because as far as we know, there are only handful of restaurant/ foodcourt that are available in the area.

The Press Conference

During the press conference, there are various representatives from several blogs, and also from news and radios. The event went well and lively. Several main interest points that the vendor are promoting include beautiful view and scenery from the foodcourt, variation of unique menus in the area, and cooperation with several communities in Bandung area. In overall, their concept was splendid and unique, as most of the other foodcourt do not try to extend to reach communities in Bandung.

Hainanese Chicken Rice

As for their food, it was tasted good. We particularly loved their Hainanese Chicken Rice (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hainanese_chicken_rice) menu. And also the experience having lunch or dinner there was quite unique.

So, the last time you are visiting the Alun-Alun area, and you are hungry but have not yet decided to eat, then this foodcourt definitely should be on top of your list.

Missing in Action!

It is been a while (too long?) since we post in this our beloved blog. Actually, there are several things that has happened while we are away. We have traveled to United Kingdom, Malaysia, and Singapore respectively, while also going to Central Java to visit Semarang and Jogjakarta.

On life, Aswin has (finally!) managed to survive his challenge and fulfills one of his many dreams of becoming a PhD in Science Management. After that, another good news that we are expecting tiny new member of our blogger (boy/ girl? Just wait and hear from us!). Oh! And our beloved contributors are now happily married, congratulations to Djukie and Ruben!

As plenty has happened over the past months (year?), and the "chaos" has set in order, we would like to continue to write in this blog again. Thankfully Ruben and Djukie has covered several posting over the months while we were away, so a big thanks to you guys!

So what are you having for lunch right now?

Enjoy!

Love
Jejakrasa Team

Happy Graduation!
