Sometimes we got a delivery of food that are often could not be found in Bandung. This is one of the examples. One of my dad's student give this cake to us. The name itself is not familiar for us as we could not find the vendor in Bandung.
The cake is a traditional Indonesian cake. Perhaps influenced by the Holland type of cake during the colonial era. The cake is very buttery, soft, and sweet. Nevertheless, when I mixed it with some whipped cream with no sugar or accompany it with black coffee, the taste really complement each other and makes it a very delicious breakfast dish.
