It say "Pizza by metres, pasta by size and steak by kilos" and It called La Cucina Restorante Italiano and by the name you can guess what they served. At first, the restaurant was on Jl. Sumatera, in front of Sushi Tei, but then it moved to Jl. Ternate. Actually, it is secluded place although it is near Jl. R. E. Martadinata, the area where most of the tourist come.
It was raining and we hadn't have dinner yet, while at that time visiting my nephew who was stay at Limijati Hospital and that was the first time we visit the restaurant. The place not too crowded and the place look warm and cozy. At that time, I think I ordered Aglio Oglio Pasta -Okay I kinda obsessed with this pasta- and Aswin ordered Pizza. By the way, the photo was already publish in here. I think the restaurant remind me to Pepenero in Jakarta, well for example the menu has the same design and paper material, only Pepenero much premium, of course in term of the price. I like the taste of the pasta, and the pizza also delicious. So, I guess there will be many visit to the restaurant
And then after that we were coming here twice and both on Ramadhan month because surprisingly the place was not crowded, it was quite empty actually, only few tables was occupied. First, So, we picked the seat upstairs and it was sofas, nice and cozy. This time we ordered sampler for appetizer, ravioli with spinach filling, and steak -actually I don't remember the detail name of the dish- But what I learned for this restaurant, they cooked the steak like most of professional chef would do, not well done and that was the deliciousness of the steak come from, juicy.
So, if you want to taste Italian cuisine in Bandung, La Cucina is the answer. It is nice to have lunch in here after strolling around in Jalan Riau.
