Do you want to taste a bit of red velvet cupcake in Bandung? "Disini" is where you can find it. "Disini" which means "here" in English is a bakery shop on jalan Cikawao and when you pass the street you will find the glass facade and minimalist style of the bakery.
Based on Wikipedia, a red velvet cake is a cake with a dark red, bright red or red-brown color. It is usually prepared as a layer cake with either a vanilla or chocolate flavor, topped with a creamy white icing or a cookie dough filling. The reddish-brown color of the cake originally was from a reaction of the cocoa powder with an acidic ingredient such as buttermilk, however red food coloring is often added especially if the cake does not contain chocolate.
Beside this Red Velvet, there are another flavor of cupcake: Margarita Keylime and Choco Frappio. It is only Rp. 10.000,- Doesn't cost much right? So, when you in the area, just drop by and have some cupcakes.
