Bali (Culinary) Trip in March 2014: Warung Dewa, Ubud

After having breakfast and enjoying the weather in our bungalows, we decided to start circling the city. The weather is great and the road not too crowded.

After walking for a while, we realize that it is already lunch time. So we headed to one of the places that Alia mention need to be visited.

Warung Dewa serves traditional Balinese food with the emphasis on vegetarian meals. We ordered quite a lot here. Starting with Rice, Spinach and Grated Coconut for Alia; Gado-gado and Spaghetti Al Boro for me; Bali Coffee and Iced Tea for beverages; and Banana Pancake for dessert. The Rice dish tasted superb although a little bit spicy for me. The Spaghetti Al Boro is great, but the coup is their Banana Pancake. Been tasting three of them in the last few days, and we got to say, this one tasted the best. Crispy, sweet, and flavorful.

Now, on to our next food destination!

Enjoy!
