DeHaPe Foodcourt, Dalem Kaum, Bandung

The Invitation

On April 2015, we were invited to the press conference for the opening of DeHaPe Foodcourt in Dalem Kaum area, Bandung. We were excited to attend this press conference, because as far as we know, there are only handful of restaurant/ foodcourt that are available in the area.

The Press Conference

During the press conference, there are various representatives from several blogs, and also from news and radios. The event went well and lively. Several main interest points that the vendor are promoting include beautiful view and scenery from the foodcourt, variation of unique menus in the area, and cooperation with several communities in Bandung area. In overall, their concept was splendid and unique, as most of the other foodcourt do not try to extend to reach communities in Bandung.

Hainanese Chicken Rice

As for their food, it was tasted good. We particularly loved their Hainanese Chicken Rice (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hainanese_chicken_rice) menu. And also the experience having lunch or dinner there was quite unique.

So, the last time you are visiting the Alun-Alun area, and you are hungry but have not yet decided to eat, then this foodcourt definitely should be on top of your list.

Enjoy!

Missing in Action!

It is been a while (too long?) since we post in this our beloved blog. Actually, there are several things that has happened while we are away. We have traveled to United Kingdom, Malaysia, and Singapore respectively, while also going to Central Java to visit Semarang and Jogjakarta.

On life, Aswin has (finally!) managed to survive his challenge and fulfills one of his many dreams of becoming a PhD in Science Management. After that, another good news that we are expecting tiny new member of our blogger (boy/ girl? Just wait and hear from us!). Oh! And our beloved contributors are now happily married, congratulations to Djukie and Ruben!

As plenty has happened over the past months (year?), and the "chaos" has set in order, we would like to continue to write in this blog again. Thankfully Ruben and Djukie has covered several posting over the months while we were away, so a big thanks to you guys!

So what are you having for lunch right now?

Enjoy!

Love
